Handicrafts Section
Social Object
The handicraft section aims to facilitate access and learning of all types of handicrafts, providing upcycling services with collection and rehabilitation of used materials of all kinds, promoting circular economy and employability. It also aims to facilitate the production and commercialisation of local crafts and to promote interculturality.
Note: Let's do it! With your collaboration, everything will become a reality that benefits us all.
Please do contact us if:

You live in Tomar's area and produce handcrafted goods/arts;

You teach some kind of manual art and/or craft and would like to share your know-how more widely;

You want to develop or learn one or several manual arts and crafts;

You are interested in upcycling and circular economy;

You have the means to facilitate or simplfy the commercialization of local handicrafts;

You produce and/or teach some sort of handcraft but you are not residing in the Tomar area;

And of course, if this is an area you are particularly interested in for any other reason not mentioned here.
Thank you very much!
With the collaboration of local public and private entities as well as the local community, we intend to develop diverse workspaces where various arts and crafts are learnt, created and produced manually in different kinds of ways and for different kinds of purposes, namely with the aim to provide easier access to self-employment and overall employability.
See you soon! We are looking forward to your visit.
