In a comprehensive perspective of sharing knowledge, arts, crafts, cultures and flavours, we organise and also provide space for you to organise, as a Member, diverse activities that contribute to a broader education and re-education in the non-formal sphere of coexistence between people from the most varied backgrounds.
In this eclectic and open context, we aim to inspire you to live a fulfilling life, whatever that means for you.

INFORMATIVE TALK: ‘Integral Cooperatives - what they are and how they benefit the creation of local businesses and social projects’ - Thursday 26th September, 6 PM, Moinho da Ordem (at the Levada Complex) Tomar
This session will cover the framework of Integral Cooperatives as a form of civil society empowerment, including how these entities can benefit entrepreneurs financially, facilitating the creation of their businesses or social projects, and creating collaborative networks that promote the well-being and economic and social sustainability of communities.
SPEAKER: Jorge Gonçalves
Graduated (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), Master and PhD in Economics (Technical University of Berlin), Jorge has been an associate researcher on the JUST2CE project (on the circular economy) at the Centre for Studies at the University of Coimbra since 2022 and a WindEmpowerment board member since 2021. He is a consultant for business and cooperative projects and co-founder of the Integral Minga Cooperative, established in 2015 in Montemor-o-Novo, having been a board member, treasurer and president at various times.
He has worked on rural development projects in several Asian countries and coordinated environmental impact studies in Latin America and the Caribbean. He is involved in the creation of a local currency for Montemor (Associação A.Mor, founded in 2018).
